Exploration of Redrock Mine 
 
Fifty years ago Redrock mine hummed with industry, the discovery of large silver deposits brought a lot of folk’s attention to this remote edge of The Dunesea ( a large and treacherous desert on the outskirts of the Umber Republic). A town quickly formed, and was named Redrock after the large crimson mesa the town was built against. At first folks flocked to the town eager for a shot at wealth, and for many years the mine was rich and Redrock prospered. But things took a turn for the worse 10 years ago when miners accidentally opened a rift  to The Underdark and its hungry and hateful residents. The mine was shut soon after, and many folks left Redrock for greener pastures, a few stayed behind attempting to find a new way to access the silver deposits. No progress was made for years, until just a few months ago, when an expeditionary force from the wealthy SteelFinger Mining Company, discovered something more valuable than mere silver, a vein of Adamant, a metal stronger than steel and more precious than gold. With the discovery of adamant, the SteelFinger Company sent out a call for qualified adventurers to escort a demolition expert to the bottom of the mine in order to seal the rift to The Underdark, and the payday is more than tempting. Do you have what it takes to brave the twisting passages and the denizens of The Underdark? Or will your last breaths ring out in the stale mine air hundreds of feet below the surface?

For those of you who’d like to make your character ahead of time, and so everyone can begin thinking of what they’d like to play, here are the build requirements
Characters will be starting at lvl 3
Any class/race from official 5e 2024 material is permitted, if you want to use something from the unearthed arcana discuss it with me first.  
Characters will have the base equipment and starting gold from their class, and an additional uncommon magic item
 
Exploration at Redrock Mine will take place in three parts scheduled around two weeks apart or as close as we make work, sessions will be between 3-4 hours long, with extra time the first session for character creation. Cost is 60 dollars a person for all three sessions or $20 per session.
